Introducing our support team…
At Aster Horses we work with the very best practitioners in the equine field to make sure our horses are looked after to the highest, contemporary standards. Their wellbeing, from mares in foal, to youngstock and our elite competition horses is paramount. Take a look at our fantastic team, all based in the Kent area, and local to our HQ. All work with a range of riders and their horses and are happy to discuss your needs, their contact details are listed below.
RW Equine Vet is an independent, family run practice that was set up in March 2018 by husband and wife team Reuben & Sarah Whittaker.
We work with this practice as they are passionate about providing excellent customer service and skilled vets that are friendly and really care. Their vet team consists of a team of 13 people, including 6 fantastic equine vets (three certificate holders) and their very own vet nurse. RW undertake pre-purchase vetting's, lameness investigations, vaccinations, routine dental maintenance and surgery, scanning, fertility issues, x-rays and much more besides.
The team brings cutting edge diagnosis and treatment services using the latest equipment. Their fully equipped and mobile surgery can be brought to our yard, and any needs which cannot be dealt with on site will be referred to local specialist equine hospitals.
The practice also has the facility for us to bring our horses to their surgery, based at the RW HQ. Here they can deal with problematic tooth removals and many other procedures.
Above all we find RW Equine Vets approachable and sensitive to all the horses they work with. Their pragmatic approach to diagnosis and care to animals is fully appreciated by the team at Aster horses.
